Introduction -
A distinction needs to be made between the words opposing and opposite. The word opposite means a state in which everything
within two separate objects is completely reversed in their nature. Opposing means that one object pushes or resists another,
only allowing each to come a certain distance away before pushing it back. This is how positive and negative work.
Human beings work with a continuous opposition of forces in seeking
a resolution, and for as long as we put off resolving issues we will tend to follow the trend towards negativity. This is
bred within our natures, and comes from the first sentient choice we had in our life, the right to say no. Therefore we must
teach ourselves that it is not a bad thing to say yes to and become more acceptant of that which is around us.
Accentuate the Positive - Positive forces must often be displayed consciously and deliberately, so the longer
you wait to settle an issue the harder it becomes, negativity digs in, and creates a personality trend that is irremovable.
Once there, the mind latches onto this negativity, and although there are many ways to treat these issues, once they set in
they become life long. Treating it becomes the only option.
Realization that this negativity has become a part of your psyche
is the first step in learning to live with it, understanding that it is a result of listening to lies. Positive energy
exists within truth, where beauty and happiness can be found. The second step is to accentuate the positive attributes
of every issue, lessening negative impact by attempting to balance the energy by neutralizing the negative thinking process.
Negative and positive forces are not good or bad, light or dark, up,
down or anything in between. They are based emotional energy, subconsciously controlled by fear and desire, a lot of which
is engrained experience. Never go against experience, it is what teaches caution, and is the culmination of what has been
learned throughout your life. Learn how to balance the perceptions of experience. For example, worrying about something there
is no control over is a futile waste of mental energy Move past it mentally and get on with life.
Worry is caused by a fear of not knowing. It is an emotion wastes
energy on most of the time, and should be put down as quickly as possible. Long lasting negativity is like this, beginning
with emotions that are useless but yet persist.
Tracking Negativity to it’s Roots - Once a negative trend has been identified track it back to it ’s
roots. Remember back as far as possible and decide where and when the negativity began. Then cut it off from its source, and
the energy will begin to fade over time. Be careful not to feed this fading energy with any more negative thinking. Keeping
a positive outlook is the best way to deal with negativity, and the best way to keep it from further influencing your thinking.
Finding the Positive - It’s
simply a matter of finding what truly makes you happy. Continuously work at becoming more positively motivated, taking the
time and effort to meditate, pray and create recreation time. It is well worth it in the long run.
(See Mind on Meditation - a Book by Allen Graih)
Some suggestions for a more positive mindset –
- Cut down on Drinking –
If you tend towards negativity already, alcohol just increases the negative mood.
- Less Sugar
– Hyperactivity is not a good thing when negative emotions are brewing.
- Less Caffeine
– Cutting
down caffeine consumption will keep your thinking at a slower pace, and negativity will have a more difficult time growing
within you if you take more time to think positively about what’s going on around you.
Stop Watching News
– If
you like to know what’s
going on in the world this might be a bit tough, but if the News is a point of negativity within you keep it to a weekly thing,
and cut off the daily addiction.
Positive thinking
– Don’t allow negative thoughts. If you can’t
look on the bright side of an issue that you have absolutely no control over –
don’t
look!!
A negative attitude leads to continued unhappiness, listening to what
other ’s think usually causes this. Form your own opinions. If an issue does not a
problem, forget it and move on. Make personal positively motivated decisions about the World, the rest is not necessary to
think about, until it can take a positive place in your mind.
Thinking positive is where true happiness begins. Learning to be positive
is where true happiness exists.
Positive Illusions (Infinite idealism) -
All throughout your lifetime involvement in the world has been
perceived as unchangeable reality. When a realization of the illusive nature of the world begins, the finite value of what
goes on within the world becomes apparent. The world is a finite existence, it is this impermanence that creates in itself
illusion. The only things that matter are spirit and energy, forever and infinite; mind, matter, power, life, all are illusion
that within the vastness of time and space will be lost and forgotten, of no great consequence to any perceived universal
master plan.
Ideals of religion, God, good and evil are something that will at
some point in our spiritual existence become permanent. This is related to the imprinting of Karma upon our Spiritual memory,
and continues to stay with us permanently unless something is done to clear it. At some point this clearing becomes impossible,
the Karmic influence become a permanent part of spiritual nature. Humankind perceives the future of our existence as forever,
as infinite. Infinity is a complete lack of the movement of time between one linear moment and the next, having nothing to
do with either past or future. Every human being that has ever existed wishes to exist within that space, non existence, yet
still there.
Desire vs. Perfection - When we desire
to be in a perfect place, the desire creates the effect of emotional impermanence, and therefore our need to be there is illusive,
even though the illusion of this desire is a positive in it‘s nature. When our lives are over, our desires and thoughts
are relegated to Karma, imprinted within our spirit, but no longer effectively linear, therefore we lose the need for desire
Reality becomes an infinite directive and is relegated to ambient space. Although Illusions of “a better place”
after death may help us to become better persons in life, they still are illusions.
Spiritual perfection can not be created in one lifetime, everything
that we do in the world to get to that perfect place, actually means nothing. The point of the world is to test our ability
to understand the difference between what we know to be real and what we know to be illusion.
Personification of Perfection
- There is a lot of positive but illusive value within each lifetime. In order to better understand how the world works we
create illusions of Gods and Goddesses so that we can better understand the nature of personality and choose a path to finding
out more about the true selve. Religious orders are designed to keep you search for but never finding true self, because they
believe that once you find the inner perfection of God or Goddess, the journey has ended. They fear the beginning of a new
journey throughout continued spiritual existence because it puts the traveler beyond their ability to keep them on earth within
the confines of Religious ideology.
Final Statement -
Reality is that infinite space within nothingness, yet the
fullness of our Karmic ambience exists within this space. To desire to be in this place is emotionally illusive, because in
reality, you will end up within it anyways.
